Dr. Sarno
Dr. Sarno, founder of Foothill Modern Dental, is a Southern California native who began her journey at UCLA, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry. She further advanced her clinical training through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the UCLA Venice Dental Clinic, where she developed a desire to pursue comprehensive, complex dental care.
Dr. Sarno has always had a passion for both the arts and sciences, and found dentistry to be the perfect field to bring them together. Beyond the clinical work, she values building meaningful relationships with patients by running a practice rooted in integrity and a genuine source of joy.
She takes a conservative approach to every case, preserving the integrity of natural teeth and gums for as long as possible, while ensuring each patient feels confident and comfortable throughout their care. There is no rushing in our office. Every patient deserves the time to ask questions, understand their options, and make decisions that are right for them.

Outside the office, Dr. Sarno enjoys an active Southern California lifestyle, including running, tennis, golf, and pickleball. Most importantly, she cherishes time with her family and her son, who inspires her daily to lead with compassion, balance, and joy—both in life and in the care she provides to her patients.

Dr. Antonious
Our periodontist and implant surgeon is a board-certified specialist and Northern Orange County native with a deep passion for providing exceptional, patient-centered periodontal care. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2015.
Driven by a strong interest in periodontal health, she went on to complete her post-doctoral specialty training in Periodontics at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where she also earned a Master’s degree in Oral Science. During that time she served as part-time faculty in the Department of Periodontics, teaching both dental students and post-doctoral residents.
Her clinical expertise spans the full scope of periodontal and implant care — including treatment of periodontal disease, bone and soft tissue grafting, dental implant surgery, and LANAP laser therapy. Her research and contributions to the field have been recognized in prominent academic publications and prestigious national symposia.

She has participated in multiple dental mission trips and community service projects throughout her career, and has served in leadership roles within the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation. Her commitment to service extends well beyond the operatory.
